Worlds fastest motorcycle

Got a good look at the worlds fastest motorcycle. 350.884 MPH. It looks more like a red bullet than a bike. 3000cc, 500 HP, turbo charged, liquid cooled crotch rocket.

That was top speed:

December 5, 2006 Denis Manning’s motorcycles have been chasing world land speed records for over three decades and in September, the BUB 7 Streamliner he designed and built captured the ultimate goal when it set the new absolute motorcycle land speed record at Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats. Rider Chris Carr piloted the BUB 7 streamliner to 354.832 mph on the down run and 346.939 mph on the return for an average speed of 350.885 mph, a new world record.

If you had enough money to buy that engine you could afford a Kawasaki dealership.

Im sure that would be quite a rush, traveling down the saltflats, It looks very simalar to the cars that go there with the jet engines.

There was a show on the History Channel the other night where a guy (can't remember his name) was trying to break 200 mph on a modified 900cc Kawasaki. He crashed the first time at 185 mph. He made it the second time but still crashed at 200 mph. He survived both crashes, but retired after the second one.

Jay Leno has a jet engine powered bike that he actually rides on a regular basis. Has over 9,000 miles on it himself! $150K; first one built after the prototype by TTM (or something like that down in Louisiana). The heat from the exhaust melted the front of a Lexus that kept creeping up on him at a stoplight! Good times...
