Scootworks risers

Days away from the first ride of the season and I've been waiting for my Christmas present from Scootworks. My wife ordered me some chrome Phat ll risers in November and I've been waiting ever since. Dave, at Scootworks, has been in constant contact with the details of troubles with chroming vendors and the likes. However, I think 4 months is long enough and I've shown good patience waiting.
Is any one else waiting for orders from them?

They were out when I ordered a set for Ann's VN900, I ended up going with the polished aluminum to avoid waiting on the chrome. To me, they look just fine.

Ditto...
I ended up doing the same thing due to the wait.
The polished ones are very nice.
I did a lot of research and decided to not wait and went for the polished.
Yes they might need more cleaning and maintenance but there has been issues with Chrome on aluminum...it can bubble or flake off.
I have delt with Dave as well on this matter.
I had some hardware issues and he made it right in no time.
But yes 4 months???....you are a very patient person...
Good Luck

Aeromach is an alternative brand that is also popular and will work with the 1600s.

I put on Chucksters and absolutely loved them. Ordered them one day and three days later I had them. They look like they came from the factory. Very nice. Chuckster is one of us. Look him up in the vendors section of KawaNow.

I got the polished ones. They looked so nice I thought they were chrome at first.

Ditto on this. If you want fast service, order a set from Chuckster. Mine arrived in less than a week.

I wouldn't have waited that long...

Switch your order to the polished or brushed look. It will better match your triple-tree and are easier to clean.

You'll also avoid any future complications with the chrome bubbling or pealing.

And besides... the chrome on the risers doesn't show as much as you might think... I promise. ;)

As mentioned earlier I waited and then decided to take a chance on the polished ones...I am not dis-satisfied at all.
When I called I spoke to a lady named Joyce and told her I want the polished ones...3 days later they were on my door step.
I noticed you have chatted with Dave...call him again and tell him to s&*t or get off of the pot.
I'd say go with the polished ones...as others have mentioned they will match the triple tree better.

I was told I have to wait for chrome, I went to the nonfactory shop I use and they got the chrome in less than a week and paid the price on the website.
Thanks for your time.
