Do I really have to call my new bike NAD?

I've seen a few people refer to the Nomad as NAD. Sorry, but I've always thought of Nad's not in a motorcycle way.

Yeah, I'm with you dude. I'm not real keen on the 'nad' title either. We could start the "no nad nomad riders" club........on second thought, maybe not

I can't say I have ever liked the nickname myself either....

Where I come from... there is a different meaning for the word... and I wouldn't want to use it to refer to anything I am riding.

There are a few, could I say "uncouth", folks who have fallen into that unsavory habit.

Personally, I prefer "Nomad."

Each to his own I suppose.

I got kicked in the "Nads" once. Man, I just don't want to think of that everytime I sit on my bike. Speaking of names...I tend to name all of my vehicles. Some are easy and some not so easy. My '07 Suzuki Boulevard never got a name because nothing really felt right. I have a feeling this Nomad will find her name soon. :)

No, you're right. I'm sure if Trip had decided to name this forum "Global Organization of Nomad Alliance Database" (GONAD) there wouldn't be near as many members. I said members

Well, just don't lift your Nads without a Idaho Jack Adaptor. :)

I prefer to call mine Lucy, or the old girl.

I don't like the nad word, because mine is a female "Mary Jane"
I'd much rather ride a female then to sit on my nad

I agree. All my vehicles are females as well. I think I am going to call her Karma. :)
