Monkey,
You could save a bunch of money if you studded your own seat. You can buy the studs from J&P Cycles, metric catalog. They're on page 381 , part no. 8400003, 10 for $1.99. The conchos are on the same page. You live in Alabama and I live in NW Georgia. If you buy the parts I'll stud the seat for a 6 pac of Bud. Just ride over in the morning. It'll take about two hours. Two and a half if you want the passenger backrest done. Make sure you get enough studs I used about 70 for the last two seats I did and 4 conchos. I'm 27 miles south of Chattanooga.

Hmmm. I might be interested.

Is this the front seat and back seat both?
What color?
Leather or vinyl?

BTW, I think the 1500 Nomad seat is pretty comfy, but I've always wanted a Mustang & been too cheap to buy one new because, well the Nomad seat is so comfy. (Some say it's not. I think it depends on your personal butt shape. Mine is evidently shaped like a Nomad seat.)

Oh, too bad. I didn't know.

If I buy a custom seat, it's gonna be leather.

A "stud party" ? Uh-oh. Wear your black leather.

That's a good deal for just a sixer. Oldbiker, you should have held out for at least a suitcase.

No problem. Misunderstood, anytime you want to ride down bring the 12 and I'll split it with you.
