scavenger hunt

I am looking for ideas for a motorcycle scavenger hunt.
We just had a fun run to raise money for the local police dept. andi think this would be another great way to raise funds to help them get a K-9 unit. Have any of you guys ever been on one of these before and if so through me some ideas as what to look for.
ill start off cuz this popped in my head and cant get it out.

scavenger hunt

I have thought on this for a couple of days now and still haven't come up with anything. Wish I could help but at least it will bump it to the top.

scavenger hunt

I have never been on a scavenger hunt. People could find or buy or have their pic taken with the item for proof they found it.
But how about finding a box of crayons, Dr. stethoscope, meat thermometer, bale of hay, paper hat from a fast food restaurant's kitchen. tree air freshener, two dollar bill, a wig or toupee', a magnifying glass.
Good luck with your event.

seeing that this is for a police dept. got to have something about the police. need to have at least 2 pictures of the rider with a police officer or better if the police have a motor unit pictures with them.

scavenger hunt

We've had a few of those before. As to the things to look for, just go out a ride the roads that come in to town and see what others might see. Like a white picket fence. You need to have about 30 to 40 things to look for and who ever finds the most wins. But every town is different and has different things that stand out. When we did it you just took a pic of the item.

scavenger hunt

Pictures of: a police motorcycle, a female police officer, the inside of a jail cell, at the police firing range, standing next to the 911 operator and the switchboard, standing next to a bicycle cop's bike, a police helicopter or airplane, a police officer riding a horse, a police officer walking a beat...everyone on the team (if it is a team event) has to be in the picture except the one taking the photograph. Give them a time limit to be back. The person/team with the most within the time limit is the winner.
