Bad news..
Just found out today I have to have a metal brace put into my neck because of the car wreck I had last December.
I knew there was a problem but METAL to reinforce my neck!? Don't know how long I'll be down, but I told them to do it as soon as they can. Looks like 2-3 weeks then I go under the knife ... again.. Damn, I'm PISSED!!!!! ..

On the bright side it sounds like they can fix your ailment. That is a good thing. Heal quick and be ready for riding season.

I had to read your post twice, thought I missed the punchline to one of the cornball stories you usually post.
Sorry to hear that, Mike. I hope all goes well for you.

Should be interesting if you ever have to go through an airport metal detector. "No, really officer. I swear it's the metal in my neck." Hope you recover quickly.

I have to admit Mike I too was looking for some hidden sick joke in your post.
I'm sorry to hear the news. Operations are never nice/good. Can I ask exactly what's wrong with the neck? I remember my Dad saying that my Uncle was always sticking his neck out. Could this be your problem. seriously, I hope it all goes well for you.

Make sure they know which end of the spine they need to put the metal (probe) brace.
I was just wondering about that a couple of days ago. I hope all goes better than expected. And that your neck ends up like new. Heal quickly and stay healthy.

I think Dave's been chewing on the lead paint chips in his container.
