Oh my

I honestly don't think this would even cross my kids minds. They know what would happen to them.

Video games have changed to much over the years. They have long story lines and require weeks and even months to complete one gaming session. This was the reason ( but by no means a valid excuse) for the (adult) child's reaction. When his step father turned the game off, it probably erased 5 or 6 hrs. of progress due not saving it first. A lot of these gamers have anti social mentalaties and cannot deal with real life situation and take gaming very seriously as it is their only real means of joy in life. It is their ONLY FRIEND.
My son has an xbox and I make it a point to have him shut if off with a max of 2hrs. play time only a couple of times per week. I have seen that look in his face when he's been on that thing for 6 hrs. and it will never happen again. Looked like he just got home from a month long odyssey with the Greaftful Dead. video games can be damaging to young peoples minds if used in excess IMHO! Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Really don't know what to say. If that were my kid he would be on his butt looking from the outside in.

"IF" I had any kids they would have been out of the house at 18, therefore, no problem would have existed. Unless I told the wife she couldn't watch soaps that is. Then the Vulcan might be in danger.

Well, one of us would have gotten their backside beat all to hell and back...pretty sure it wouldn't have been me on the receiving end. No meds, give me a break. That punk would be living in his '00 Maxima down by the river.

the kid would be lucky to see another Christmas. We told our kids out the door at 25 and they were.

A new Victory might be considered an upgrade for a 2009 Harley. Does that upgrade come with a personality change to douchebag as well?

Dumb Ass. I'm afraid I'd loose my short temper on that.
