Crying EBC Pads

So during my mini bike overhaul I put on some EBC front pads. These things are way loud. No matter what I do they are noisy.

Guy I know had a set of OEM sealed in wrap and let me have them for 45.00. BOTH sides lol.

If anybody wants an almost new set of EBC you can have them, just pay shipping. These have about 10 miles on them.

I just do not like the way they sounded. Maybe its a Mike thing I dunno, but back to OEM here I come

Most odd. I've used EBC sintered pads on my Triumph Rocket 3 and my DL1000 VStrom with no issue.

Just read an on like report that says sintered brake pads are now used in 99 percent of new motorcycle models.

I'm wondering if you got an old set that used embedded iron particles instead of copper that are now used. Hey if they don't work for you, they don't work.

On my second set of rear ebc double scintered pads, no problem. I have new ebc pads for the front ready for new with 29000 miles. Can't figure why rear wear so.

That's why I got the EBC's. Everyone but a few liked them. Might be the pads, might be my rotors. Either way they don't seem to like each other lol.

I got a good deal on the set of OEM so I will try them and report back so to speak.

OEM are on. So much nicer for me. The EBC website shows the RH side pads the same part # for both front and back. They are on the same side anyway. But kawa shows a different part # for the rear. Thoughts...

I switched to Organic Kevlar years ago for just that reason. Always been quiet.
