Oil Question

Normally use Rotella T4 or T6 JASO -MA approved. Would conventional 15/40 diesel oil that is JASO - DH2 approved work?
Noticed the T6 does not mention JASO ratings on packaging?

The T6 that I buy here in the states 15W40 does state JASO ma/ma2 on the jug.

Canadian supply/pricing

Reason for asking is that I can't find the regular Rotella T3/T4 on the shelves anywhere and even sold out online. However can get T6 5 litre jug locally but $60.00 plus tax yikes!!!!

Canadian Tire has their branded oil 5W-40 full Synthetic that says " formulated by Shell" that says jaso ma/m2 rated. So I'm thinking this is T6 branded for Cdn Tire - it is $39.00 a 5L jug.
So that's what I'll buy.

Thought some other riders living in Canada might want this info. Covid has really screwed up our supply chain of almost everything and inflation in Canada is running at an all time high.

Just my rant, thanks
