Help with a leak

After an early morning ride this past Sunday I saw that I had a leak dripping on the engine fins. I can't see where it is coming from, any ideas?

Looks to me like you need to pop off that air intake and check for leaking coolant lines behind it. It is definitely coolant though.

Help with a leak

I had a leak in the same spot. You'll need to lift off your tank and tighten all the clamps that hold the rubber hoses on. Mine were all loose as a goose. Also tighten the drain plug as all seem to be loose as well. Mine hasn't leaked since.

Tightening the hoses may work. If you've got over 15,000 miles I'd go ahead and pull the tank off, drain the coolant, and change the o-rings on the head coolant inlet pipes.

Thanks for the tips. Looks like I'll be removing the gas tank to tighten the clamps. Any suggestions on where to start on removing the tank.

Help with a leak

Hi CJ,
It's summertime... staying indoors. I've been out a couple of times for early morning Sunday rides and I'm out no more than an hour. I found the coolant leak last week after a ride. When it gets back under 100 I'll be out more often.
