It's surprisingly stable and agile. I was going to get a Voyager but I just can't fit on the new ones.. they seem smaller than my 1600 was....

Fortunately no broken bones & I'm almost recovered internally.. still some nagging neck issues. I ended up getting a Victory Vision for the main bike to ride 2up. I see a VN2000 in my future :tup:

I changed mine out at about 37k miles, not really knowing...

I use K&N simply due to the nut on the end......

I use K&N simply due to the nut on the end... Much easier to remove on the 900's and 1700's without having to use a filter wrench.

I used the AllBalls 22-1031 kit. Bearings are great. Seals threw me off for a minute, as the ID of the lower seal doesn't fit like the OEM seal but everything works...

I also have an 07 Nomad 1600 -- mileage varies greatly depending upon conditions... Head/tail wind, highway speeds 55, 65, 75, etc., load weight, 1up, 2up, etc... and how heavy you ride the throttle....
