If I remember correctly some 2009 voyagers have a recall on the ECU for that problem. Go to kawasaki website and check your Vin # there and see if your bike is one of them.

It is a ground issue for the light. I had the same problem with mine. Dealer fixed it when I had a rear tire put on the bike under warranty.

Mid grade may be acceptable to you, but you are giving the wrong information out. If the minimum octane rating Kawasaki says to use is 90 then you should use premium and not down grade to 89....

PhDr to put your mind at ease the bike hunting at idle is normal after the flash. In short it does that because Ivan added timing and fuel in the lower rpms. That is why the bike runs so much...

Fuel may not be needed depending on when he flashed your ecu, plus if your not pinging you should be fine. Not to say that a little extra fuel won't hurt.
