Well, I didn't score as usual, even though I tried with my utmost ability limited only by my extreme intoxicted state, staggering, falling down, drooling, and slurred speech and puking everywhere.

So after me and a buncha others shut the place down. Me the boy on the Hayabusa and some scraggly looking dude on a loud ass Harley go flying out of the parking lot. Pipes SCREAMING!!!!!!! We see the Busa way ahead of us hitting the brake to slow down for the highway on-ramp. The reason he slowed down is because there was about a dozen cop cars sitting on the road and on-ramp! So we take the on-ramp, and three cruisers pull out behind us, me knowing my ass is fixing to go to jail if they could somehow break the suction it had to the seat. We riding down the highway at the speed limit, trying to drive strait on that beat up cracked, pot hole infested road, cops still in tow, and tractor trailer behind them, 'cause we doing the speed limit. I find myself once again telling Allmighty if he'll get me out of this one I'll start going to church and tithing and all that, when all of a sudden a car that at first I thought was a low flying jet making an approach to the airport passes us and the three cruisers give chase.

Some people tell me I'm the luckiest SOB they ever met, and damned if I ain't about to believe it.

Chris I asked my brother today about his shocks and he said there is only one cartridge in one side but there is oil in both and some sort of transfer system to equalize the oil. Also some sort of anti dive system when you hammer the front brake hard. Those shocks you mention are about $2,500 up here he says.

Yeah, the spring is in one side. That's an odd setup. then again my bike doesn't have a traditional steering stem or springs in the forks either. It's an A frame with ball joints and a strut, just oil in the forks for lubrication. To replace my struts, I can get a decent set of Wilbers for 1700 or so. Factory is 3400. At least the Wilbers are rebuildable. Luckily I am not there yet.

There, there now. Don't quiver, you shan't be scolded. So seldom is are the times you drift or stray this mere blemish will most certainly go unnoticed is completely forgivable.

After all, we no longer reside in trees.

I read through the first four pages of this post and had enough. Assholes like this one are the reason why once was enough for me to go down that road. If they are lucky they only kill themselves when they loose control.

There were too many of those pricks and wannabe sports car drivers going the other way on my side of the street for my taste. Jerks.
