I bet you never saw a whale crossing zone in the St Lawrence river.

I just never saw one before and from the pic there is a bit of an illusion and it looked like it was raised not flush with the pavement.

I've seen a whale crossing sign in the ladies dept. at Wal Mart. Does that count?

That shot was a frame stolen from the video of my gopro. Thus the fish eye'd wide angle deal.

I used to be one of those until I moved further west. Many things out here that you never see out east like these cattle guards.

Yes, but I saw the sign before I was removed.

We do on occasion when the fence gets knocked over by a bossie bovine.
Mostly the farms that don't have a tunnel under the road, will cross their
cows on the road. And then for a couple of days if you happen a long,
you can end up cleaning the fresh pie off your vehicle.

About 40 years ago my pal hit a bull that was standing in the middle of the road as he crested a hill. It wrote the bike off and the bull walked away.

My brother hit a prize stud bull 30+ years ago with his car.

The bull & car didn't survive.

He was sued by the farmer... He counter-sued the farmer. My brother won, farmer lost... And that's no BS!

Hamburger helper was invented about 30 years ago, any coincidence?

Hamburger helper... get the beef?

I fairly sure he didn't get the beef... but have no idea if they made hamburger out of what was left of the bull.

The real "kicker" to the story is that this farmer had just bought the bull and paid a handsome price. He hadn't even been able to stud it out yet. Evidently the bull didn't like its new place and busted-out through the fence (no cattle guard I guess)

Anyway... the farmer screamed at my brother as if it was his fault. Apparently the farmer felt it was because of a caution sign warning of animals in the area.

Tough luck I guess... he ended up paying my brother...

I'm hungry now for some reason...
