I traded my '10 Voyager in on a '16 Road Glide Ultra. They made me a deal I couldn't refuse. I am really liking the new ride. I would have stayed with Kawasaki, but lost all my close by dealers.

It does not struggle on the hills like the Voyager did. I would have to downshift and rev the Voyager higher since its powerband is further up the RPM range.

As for supposedly having to work on a Harley al the time. maybe you guys should read on here a little more about all the problems guys have with their Kawasakis. You all just sound like a bunch of wishful thinkers if you ask me. I kept my Nomad for a reason, (I like it) but I bought the Harley for long trips, which is one thing it does waaaaay better ....
I'm confused.. who said their vulcan had more power than a 110 screamin eagle?

With my research on the HD forums, looks like the 110 CVO glide has about 80-85HP, and is 870lbs wet.

My vulcan classic has about 65-70hp, with the tuner and pipes and weighs in at about 725lbs.

Looks like my butt dyno was pretty correct when i stated they "seemed to have fairly equal power."

You need to look at torque, not HP when comparing V-twins. What are the Torque numbers?

A quick google looks like the CVO has 115 lb-ft (!!) and the classic has 94 lb-ft.

Substantial difference. I could tell the street glide had more get up off the line. It would have felt like a much larger difference than it did, had the glide not weighed so much more I think. Still, I think I'll be looking at the 103 road glide soon. I don't NEED more power. Just an observation of what the bike felt like to me.

Yep, that's 100% correct. When I rode with my buddy that has a 2008 CVO Ultra , I could never keep up when passing or take off. He left me in the dust.

Also the price difference here for a Voyager compared to a ElectraGlide is about 16.000 Euro ! ! ! So the "same style" Harley is nearly the double of the Voyager here - and dont forget, if you have bought a Harley, you cant ride without all the mercandise clothes. Shorts, underwear, jacket, everthing must have a Harley print on it.
Never seen such a behaviour on any other motorcycle brand.

But that are just my 2 cents from a "little" guy over in germany.

Cu,
Sven
I had a 1600 Nomad and tried the Voyager, Vision and Ultra. I ended up going in a totally different direction. Lost 250 lbs of bike...

Not sure if it was just me, but the 110 seemed to shake way more than the 103 in my uncles heritage that i ride pretty frequently. I really wanted to fall in love with this bike but I didn't. i'll be going back to try out a 103 road glide they have on the showroom floor. it's beautiful and actually closer to my price range. the CVO street glide was listed at $36k!!! i'm also hoping to hit a victory demo day this summer. the street glide sure was rock solid and felt awesome down the highway. i can't wait to try the road glide!

here's a dropbox link to the bike: https://www.dropbox.com/s/82mq0m8awi..._2830.JPG?dl=0
The Softails have counterbalanced engines, in your case, the 103B.
