Jarad's bike

Looks like she might be up for sale again. Some dude in Tucson has it up for $4500. Doesn't look like it was taken care of as well as when it's previous owner had her.

Well, this post saved another this weekend. I had the backfire which blew the carb part way off the boot. There was about a 1/16" air gap at the top and that was enough. It would start if you gave it...

Photo shows where it seems to be coming from. I'd say it's more of a seep when it's sitting still or idling.

Again.........if I clean it all up and go for a ride it seemingly won't leak anything...

Sorry so late here. It's been a rough go and it seems like everything I own has broken here lately.

Gonna have to pull the motor

I developed an oil leak while cruising the interstate at 70mph. Puking oil like crazy. 99% sure it's the front cylinder valve cover gasket. According to the manual the motor has to come out. The...

Still leaking. It's not as bad as it was and I haven't run the crankcase vent bypass deal yet. I've got the little filter, but was hoping I wouldn't have to do it. Guess that's my next step. l did...

O.k. it's not really loose. Maybe missing though? Please take a look at the photo below. I've been battling an oil leak issue and just replaced my spark plug tube orings. They were definitely bad,...

The tube has normal threads right? That thing will not come out of there. Put some pretty good crank to it and it's not budging. Afraid to bugger the threads up, or break it off in there.

Looks like Scott was right. Pulled the left front spark plug boot and I've got oil in the tube. Looks like it's cam extenders and a new spark plug tube for Danno.

You might want to check your valve cover bolts too. I thought mine was coming from the cam plug, but it turned out to be loose valve cover bolts. You can get an 8 mm box end wrench or a 1/4" drive...
